So for the first few posts I will go over the basics of what a Programmable thermostat actually is. A HVAC controller (thermostat) that is programmable allows the user to set various heat and cool for different events for different days of the week. A Programmable thermostats may also be called setback thermostat or a clock thermostat. The thermostat below is one of the more common programmable thermostat out there today.
